Troy - Janet Rundle, loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away peacefully, Tuesday, March 12, 2024, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer at the age of 72.
Janet was born in Troy, New York on April 15th, 1951 to the departed Henry and Mary Milos. She is also preceded by her dear brother, Robert M. “Bob” Milos. After graduating from Catholic Central High School in 1969, Janet joined NY Telephone (now Verizon) in 1970 and retired after 33 successful years. She earned her A.A.S. in Telecommunications from Hudson Valley Community College in 1999.
Janet was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her family was her focus and joy. The bonds she enjoyed with her children and grandchildren were deep and loving, and she maintained close relationships with her brothers and sisters. She was always friendly and conveyed a kind word, even to strangers. Janet maintained lifetime friendships with schoolmates and co-workers. An avid reader and lover of all types of music, she attended a variety of live concerts and social events. In retirement, she had the opportunity to travel to many countries, most recently to Scotland for her nephew’s wedding, and other extraordinary places with family and friends.
Janet is survived by her son, Larry Rundle and his wife Laurele, her daughter, Jennie Feagin, and grandchildren, Alex Williams, Autumn Rundle, and Alyza, Damien, and Jessica Feagin. She was an affectionate sister to Joy Milos, Tom Milos and wife, Jeannette, Nancy Milos, and Patrice Milos-Spalding and husband Curt Spalding. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She maintains a distinguished place in all her friends’ and relatives’ hearts, and will be dearly missed by all who were blessed enough have her in their lives.
